Not strictly. Gojek and Grab work across central Ubud and reach the villa. A scooter from IDR 80k a day makes the rice fields and the further cafes easier, and the host helps with the paperwork.

Cancel more than seven days before check-in and the deposit is refunded in full, with no fee. Inside seven days the deposit is not refundable, but the host will always try to move your dates instead.

Tell the host as soon as you arrive. If the villa does not match the photos, you are moved to another villa or the nights you did not stay are refunded.

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 11:00. Late check-out until 14:00 is free whenever no other guest checks in that day, and luggage can be stored after check-out either way.
